Buying gifts for loved ones at Christmas can be a minefield. There's always that one person who has everything and you never know what to buy them, and let's not even get started on the nightmare that is Secret Santa!
We're giving you our roundup of great websites for Christmas gifts to try and help a little!
Getting Personal has a huge selection of personalised gifts, featuring both printed and engraved personalisation. They have everything from jewellery to chocolate to wine and beer glasses, so you can tick off lots of family members all in one go. They also have a lovely range of toys and games, as well as books which feature your child's name. There's cards and gift experiences too. I really like the engraved wooden Christmas Eve boxes and the personalised stocking glass baubles. Delivery costs start at 55p for a card or £3.99 for a gift, with next day and weekend delivery options available.
I love The Works for buying presents for the kids, as well as stocking up on Christmas bits and pieces. The stock in the High Street shops can vary massively, so it's worth having a good look at their website for hidden gems. Alongside books and craft materials, they also have a decent gift section and there's lots of good stocking filler ideas. You can opt for home delivery (free over £20 or £2.99) or free delivery to your nearest store. It's worth keeping an eye out as there's lots of special offers and threshold spend discounts.
This is another great gift site, which also features personalised options. What I really like on this site is the 'Unusual Gifts' section, which is brilliant for Secret Santa and novelty present options. There's loads of products that you would never have thought even existed, like Sudoku toilet roll and a set of daily funny dentures. Amongst the fun items, there's also some really cool items in there too, like the retro peg notice board and the Star Wars Death Star lampshade. Delivery starts from £3.99.
This is a great alternative present. It's a donation towards Friends of the Earth's bee saving efforts, but in return you get a lovely Bee Saver Kit. It contains wildflower seeds to plant in the garden, a bee identification guide, a planner of what to plant to make your garden bee friendly and a cute Christmas card and wrapping paper. You get one Bee Saver Kit per donation, so if you do want more than one you'll need to do them separately.
This is a fantastic website that you need to direct your husband or partner to! They set up an account and enter some details about your likes and dislikes. He will then receive an email with some selective recommendations of presents that you will actually like! He can then click through and buy his choices online, all without you knowing a thing. It's a great idea, and you can set up the account to send reminders and recommendations for birthdays and anniversaries too. It's completely free to join, and there's no obligation to buy any of the recommended products.
